School's out for Summer!!

Although the job share this year provided incredible work-life balance and I was thankful to have the extra time with my sweet kids, there is nothing like summer break. Relaxing mornings, sunshine, play dates... pure joy! Ours has started with a bang...

On the way home on the last day of school we stopped at Grandma Caren and Grandpa Phil's to pick some strawberries.

Dax had his last t-ball practice/game with Coach Daddy.

We celebrated the first official day of summer (after my workshop day and Dax's last day of preschool) with cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

We had some special entertainment as workers installed our new driveway.

We headed to the zoo with Patrick and Abigail.

We stopped at a splash pad after watering Grandma Caren and Grandpa Phil's plants (and harvesting some more tasty strawberries!).

We finally met new cousin Bennett and played with big sister Lily. I somehow missed getting any photos of sweet Bennett - oops!

We cannot wait to continue this trend of sun, fun, and lots of time with people we love!
