December

December was another great month! We started it with a visit to Richardson Nature Center.

We had another elf come to visit. This year they named it "Elfie" and, while they were excited when they'd stumble upon it each day, they were not overly interested in searching each day. It was an interesting change from previous years, but still fun to add a little magic to the season.

We also visited Santa at our realtor, Patti's, office toys for trees event. We donated some items to Toys for Tots and received a mini Christmas tree as well as a photo with Santa, some Christmas trees and a fun event to get us into the Christmas spirit early in the month!

Augsburg's Advent Vespers is a beautiful Christmas concert that we've skipped the past several years, but decided to experience again, this time with Dax and Addy. It lost their attention for awhile in the middle, but was overall a lovely show and fun family outing.

The kids enjoyed watching our gutters get installed and were in awe of his ability to climb a tall ladder- not sure how much the installer loved the audience, ha!

Dax, Addy, and other kids at Christus Victor put on a lovely Christmas program.

Dax and I saw Marvel Universe Live with some friends. The boys LOVED it and we all had a blast!

We decorated a Gingerbread house, complete with a layer of "snow" (Dax couldn't stand to leave any frosting behind).

And, of course, we spent time relaxing and playing!

Christmas was a perfect ending to a special month (more on that soon...)!
