The Schulz clan traveled near McGregor, MN to
Big Sandy Resort. It was a crazy, relaxing, fun vacation and it can be summed up in Dax's words going to sleep the first night: "Today was a really good day!"

We had some fun in the cabins,
checked out the pool,
and Dax got his first opportunity to go fishing. It was so fun, but we didn't catch anything!

We had a bonfire (is there anything better than the smell of campfire and yummy s'mores?!),
played foot golf at the local golf course,

and spent some time at the beach.

played at the resort's playground,
and had lots of family time.
It was a delightful time away from normal life and we are already looking forward to our next trip!
