We celebrated Dax's 2000th day of life! It started with an attempt to see Cars 3, but they stopped the movie due to some sort of malfunction at the theater, so we rode our bikes to Rita's Italian Ice for a sweet treat.

Dax enjoyed his week of Cave Quest VBS at church.
Some girlfriends and I went to see our friend, Trish, perform in Fridley Community Theater's presentation of Beauty and the Beast. She was brilliant!
Dax had a blast with his preschool friends Wyatt and Sam at our house.
I saw Grease at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater with some friends.
Dax, Addy, and I took advantage of our time at home and the warm summer weather to try some sweet treats - ice cream in a bag and homemade popsicles!
We tested out our new-to-us ping pong table (Thanks Mike!!) with the Schulzes.
Jake and I built a patio with help from my dad.
The kids and I invited Grandpa Phil to the zoo to see the kangaroos before they left MN. We ended up going twice due to a rainout on our first attempt, but the animals were especially lively both trips.
Dax enjoyed starting fall soccer.
We visited the special tree house and kaleidoscope exhibits at the MN Landscape Arboretum.
And we, of course, enjoyed our time at home, too.
