On The Move

For the past few weeks Dax has been scooting around to get to toys, people, cell phones, tv remotes, and anything else that he wants that is out of reach. He has gotten pretty quick even though he still refuses to keep his tummy off the ground and we have realized how much baby-proofing we will need to do to our house VERY soon.

He has also had a lot of practice walking in his walker and we recently started trying to help him learn to balance through letting him stand without help and catching him if when he falls. In addition to acquiring a little bit of balance, he also started to move on his own! He can't take more than a couple of steps without falling and it will still be awhile before we can say that he is actually able to walk, but it is fun to see his progress. These two videos show a little snapshot of our practice sessions. He is usually cracking himself up and after a few laps between Mom and Dad stops trying to walk and starts lunging between us. Silly little daredevil.
