After surpassing the due date once again, I was finally starting to feel ready to not be pregnant anymore. I was enjoying Dax, loving every kick and movement, and savoring the final moments of pregnancy, yet was also getting pretty uncomfortable and anxious to meet our little lady. Luckily she didn't make us wait too long.
At 3:27 on Wednesday, September 17, Adelaide Harriet Schulz made her appearance! Weighing in at 8 pounds, 1 ounce and 20 inches long, she stole our hearts and continues to completely perfect our family.
Dax is taking this big change in stride and likes her more than he doesn't. Jake and I are a little sleep deprived, but could not be happier.
