Changes

We are LOVING the beautiful weather we have had lately. Leaves are falling, the sun has been shining, and our kids continue to change before our eyes and are constantly becoming their own little people. There's nothing better than life with young ones. Truly, every day is an adventure.

Raking is WAY more challenging fun with Dax and Adelaide helping out!

Trike walks have become a common occurrence around here.

Adelaide is walking everywhere (her new favorite "game" is walking laps around our kitchen/dining room/living room), still loves to put things into containers (including the garbage can - we have to watch that little girl closely or she'll throw out toys, books, socks, really anything she happens to be carrying when she walks by!), talks up a storm and is slowly adding to her vocabulary, seeks out books and loves sitting on the little couch to read them, learned how to give high fives, and freely gives hugs and kisses. She has also become a little shadow, copying many of the behaviors and words/tones she sees and hears.

Dax has soared since he started preschool and continues to surprise us. He is incredibly creative in his play and has started to show interest in making projects again as well. He loves playing soccer (after repeatedly telling us he missed playing, we signed him up for an indoor team - more on that in another post), running around on playgrounds, wearing dress up clothes, hearing and telling stories, playing Legos, and both reading about and acting like super heroes. Recently, he became really interested in writing on paper, in his work books, or on the chalk board.

As siblings, they are starting to bug each other from time to time, but generally can't get enough of one another. They genuinely love and care about each other so much. After their visit to school with me, my classroom paraprofessional commented that it was fun to see them and that, "They really love each other don't they?" It is a very sweet relationship.

Life is good and we are finding so much fun in every day!
