Dax got his first real bath today! We have been hesitant to do more than the sponge-type bath we were shown at the hospital because his belly button has been slow to heal, but we finally thought he was ready.
The second grade teachers at my school gave us a
Blooming Bath (thanks ladies!). It allows us to make our kitchen sink a cozy bathtub for Dax, which also makes it easier for us to wash the slippery little guy. Thus far, baths have been one of his least favorite things - he cries throughout being washed and seems cold and miserable. Today we finally had a better experience and he seemed to really enjoy the water. Now I'm looking forward to his next bath!
