Transitions

Yay! Dax is finally starting to figure out transitions. He will not only army crawl, but will also get up on all fours from time to time. It is exciting to see him learning new ways to move, though he still prefers his original scoot because it is much faster. He has also learned to sit up on his own from laying down, pull himself up onto things, and has almost mastered sitting back down slowly enough to not topple over. It is truly incredible to see how much learning occurs for him daily. I am constantly amazed by our little boy!

He is also making transitions with food. We have continued pureeing fruits and veggies for his lunches and dinners, but could not bring ourselves to puree meat so he is eating some store-bought baby food for dinner. The chunky stage 3 foods prompted us to let him try some more table foods. He loves sharing apples with us, still enjoys his puffs, tried mashed potatoes, and is definitely interested in everything that we eat. This prompted us to try another new food with him - cottage cheese. We gave him some to try on his own as a snack and he did okay, but we also sent some to daycare for breakfast. That was a less delightful experience!

What is this?
Oh, it's food!
But NOT breakfast food!
