Thursday was a big day! The morning started out pretty normal with attending our Musikgarten class. It was extra special, though, because Jake came with us. We all enjoyed the singing, dancing, and music-making!
In the afternoon, we had a first for our family. The first night Dax spent away from Mommy and Daddy overnight. We spent a few minutes getting him settled at Grandma Caren and Grandpa Phil's and then said our goodbyes.

Jake and I celebrated our anniversary with a fun afternoon and evening and a special night at a hotel.

First, we went to Centennial Lakes. While that might not seem like a very special date, it is the place where we got engaged and used to be a huge part of our lives. It was great to go back.

Then, we had dinner at Tavern on France. It was delicious!
Next, we headed over to Southdale for a movie. Again, not an outstanding date, but we NEVER go to movies anymore and really enjoy it so we couldn't resist. There weren't many options that we were excited about and ended up with Despicable Me 2. We would both recommend it.
Finally, we ended the evening with amazing dessert at the Cheesecake Factory. We headed back to the hotel completely stuffed, very happy, and more in love than ever.
