Last Saturday there was a special Easter event at
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Dax and I headed over and it was SO much fun!
We started with the hands-on Easter story center. Dax got to create a flip book with pages depicting all of the important parts of the Easter story. We got to hear each part as we walked through and complete a small activity at each station (wave a palm branch, wash each other's feet - Dax declined this one, ha!, write a prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, put a nail in the cross, etc...). It was a great way to start off our Easter celebrating.
We also played games, made a mystery egg craft, did an egg hunt, pet a bunny, got a tattoo, and made a card for the military. This may have to become a family Easter tradition!
